Westfield are in the process of installing boom gates and ticket parking "to improve our shopping experience".
I do all my day to day shopping here and easily spend $700 per week not including major purchases in the centre. I am boycotting Southland as a result of corporate greed.
The retailers pay thousands of dollars rent per week, this rent covers parking, there is no need to charge shoppers. The retailers will suffer as a result of this.
