  Very unethical mechanic. Took in for a standard 6 month service which typically costs 350 and got charged 1500. No contact was made around a quote or no heads up was given of the works. I even called to check on things and got told all was well and it would be ready soon. Complete suprise that it costs that much - will never go here again.

  Had a roadworthy performed on my car here. Tim was fine to deal with at this point. After a few days of driving I noticed some pulling of the car to the left and a crooked steering wheel, so I called Tim and he asked me to bring it for a look.
  
  I Drove the car 45 minutes to Tim’s workshop only to be berated and stood over by him during a test drive. I was careful not to accuse Tim of missing these issues in the roadworthy, as I know very little about cars. I simply described what I had experienced to him. Tim quickly became irate because he felt that I had questioned his work. He began to speak over me, not giving me a chance to further explain the situation. When I got a chance to reveal some information to him, he accused me of lying and trying to profiteer from him. Even as an adult male I felt intimated throughout this exchange. I can only imagine how a younger person or a female would feel in the same position.
  
  In the end, I refused Tim’s offer to pay for a wheel alignment on the car as I didn’t want to deal with him anymore. If you enjoy good customer service and being treated respectfully, seek out another mechanic.
  
  Update: the clutch throwout bearing has just failed on this car. In the pre-purchase inspection I asked tim to perform, I specifically requested that he look at the clutch and tell me what condition it was in. He said it is fine and will survive for at least 6 more months. Evidently this wasn’t the case. I doubt he even inspected it at all. It is very lucky I could easily get the car to my mechanic.
  Update 2: as part of my ‘pre purchase inspection’ I also asked Tim to inspect the head gaskets to confirm they were not leaking. I’ve just taken my first look under the car and they are weeping heavily. Not only did he miss this, but it is also roadworthy issue which wasn’t addressed. I’ll be raising a complaint with Vicroads shortly.

  This is the mechanic check you car for roadworthy and next day car breaks doesn't work, and when you call he tells you maybe someone cut the break oil hose, can believe this type of mechanic doesn't knows even how to check break which is important item in roadworthy
